There are more than 100 restaurants throughout Bermuda with the majority of them located in the City of Hamilton. Bermudian Cuisine and local flavours are infused in the dishes offered on many menus, in particular, locally grown vegetables, black rum, bermuda onions, tomatoes and bananas. Daily specials include locally caught fish; tuna, rockfish, mahimahi, wahoo and when in season (November-March) Bermuda Spiny Lobster. Bermuda Fish Chowder is a dark soup unlike the creamy chowders seen elsewhere.
